John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
Car Parking

(New York, New York - NY, USA)

As one of the world's leading airports, drivers will not be surprised to find that John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) has ample parking for literally thousands of cars. Spaces are available for everything from just a few minutes to many weeks, and tariffs are calculated accordingly.

Short-Term

Short-term car parking is available at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and is to be found close to the terminal buildings. The parking areas are color-coded for each of the terminal buildings at JFK airport and there are also additional short-term car parking spaces located on the roof the Terminal 3 building.

Parking is limited for the Terminals 4, 5 and 6 and the 'blue' parking area is recommended for these terminals, with regular courtesy shuttle buses being available, connecting this car parking area to each of the main terminal buildings. The airport's short-term car park is particularly handy for quickly drop-offs.

Long-Term

Long-term car parking is available and located 4 miles / 7 km from the terminal buildings. Regular 24-hour courtesy shuttle buses are available, connecting the long-term car parking area to the airport's main terminal buildings. This shuttle bus service operate every 15 minutes between 06:00 to midnight and then every 30 minutes up to 06:00.

The long-term car parking area is easy to reach and is well sign posted. When traveling from the Belt Parkway, exit and Junction 19 and when arriving on the JFK Expressway, keep to the right and follow the signs to Lefferts Boulevard.

Disabled

Spaces are reserved for disabled passengers with the relevant parking permits in all of the airport's car parking areas, including the 'blue' and 'green' parking areas. These spaces are often close to walkways and are clearly labeled in the car parks. Parking fees for disabled drivers and the same as the long-term car parking at JFK Airport.
